وزير الخارجية: العلاقات مع سوريا تمضى بشكل جيد.. وأعتزم زيارة دمشق

قال الدكتور بدر عبد العاطى وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولى والمصريين فى الخارج إن مصر تقف قلبا وقالبا مع الشعبين اللبناني والسـورى وإنه يعتزم زيارة دمشق.
وأضاف أن العلاقة مع سوريا تسير فى الاتجاه الطبيعى وأن مصر تتمنى كل الخير لسـوريا وشعبها ونفى وجود أى برود فى العلاقات بين البلدين وقال إن وفدا حـكوميا مصريا كبيرا يضم الوزارات المعنية زار دمشق قبل أيام وإنه التقى وزير الخارجية أسعد الشيبانى وشاهد الرئيس أحمد الشـ.رع خلال اللقاء مع الرئيس ترامب على هامش اجتماعات الأمم المتحدة وأكد أنه سيزور دمشق بعد الزيارة الأخيرة للوفد.
وتابع أن كل ما تريده مصر هو الأمن والاستقرار فى سوريـا وأن أى أفكار أو نصائح تقدمها القاهرة هدفها تحقيق استقرار مستدام ومنها ضرورة التعامل مع قضيـة المقاتلـين الأجانب واستمرار عملية سياسية شاملة تضم الجميع وأوضح أن مصر تدعم التوافقات بين الحكومة وقوات سوريا الديمقراطية بما يدمجها فى الجيـش السورى ومؤسسات الدولة ووصف ذلك بالأمر الجيد.
Syria Are Progressing Well, and I Intend to Visit Damascus

Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, said that Egypt stands firmly with the peoples of Lebanon and Syria, adding that he intends to visit Damascus.
He said that relations between Egypt and Syria are progressing naturally, stressing that Egypt wishes all the best for Syria and its people. He also denied any cooling in relations between the two countries.
Abdelatty explained that a large Egyptian government delegation, comprising representatives of the relevant ministries, visited Damascus a few days ago. He added that he had met with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani and said that he had seen Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations meetings.
The Egyptian foreign minister confirmed that he would visit Damascus following the recent visit by the Egyptian delegation.
He emphasized that Egypt’s primary objective is to see security and stability restored in Syria, noting that any ideas or advice offered by Cairo are aimed at achieving sustainable stability.
Among these issues, he highlighted the need to address the issue of foreign fighters and to continue an inclusive political process that brings together all segments of Syrian society.
Abdelatty also said that Egypt supports the understandings reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces, particularly efforts to integrate the forces into the Syrian army and state institutions, describing this as a positive development.
